About the role: Produce Stocker

Working as a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. A Produce Stocker provides exemplary customer service by adhering to Walmart’s basic beliefs and values, maintains and zones the produce area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

You will zone the department, rotate stock, check for expired products, ensure proper signing and pricing, and follow cold chain, food safety, and sanitation procedures. You’ll also handle ordering, markups/markdowns, labels, and make sure the department is fully stocked and ready for business while following Health and Safety guidelines.

Requirements / Skills

• Experience providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to zone departments, rotate stock, and maintain signage/pricing accuracy
• Knowledge of cold chain compliance, thermometer calibration, temperature recording, food handling, sell-by and expiration dates
• Comfort following ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels procedures
• Commitment to Health and Safety guidelines and maintaining a safe, clean environment
• Capable of stocking merchandise/picks, downstocking, applying product protection, and setting/finishing modulars (including flex modulars and new shelf caps)
