Key Responsibilities for the Principal Worldwide Specialist Seller Role

As a Principal Worldwide Specialist Seller for Amazon Connect, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving revenue within a defined territory by collaborating with multiple account teams and partners.
  • Meeting or exceeding revenue targets by helping AWS sellers navigate sales cycles, accelerate implementations, and originate and close opportunities for Amazon Connect.
  • Building deep relationships with customers to fully understand their business, technical needs, and solutions requirements.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive account plans in collaboration with account teams to achieve revenue and win goals.
  • Creating and articulating value propositions that address specific customer needs and demonstrate the benefits of Amazon Connect’s solutions.
  • Managing and closing a sales pipeline of Amazon Connect revenue opportunities within your territory.
  • Partnering with Go To Market Strategy and Partner Development resources to drive market penetration and business development initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications for the Principal Worldwide Specialist Seller Role

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • 7+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT professionals, and lines of business across organizations.
