About the Role: Preloader

The Preloader position at UPS in Abbotsford is responsible for ensuring packages are handled correctly and efficiently throughout the sorting and loading process. • Learn and execute UPS’s established package handling methods accurately and consistently
• Load and unload UPS packages into trailers or package cars efficiently
• Scan and sort packages to ensure correct routing and delivery
• Stock packages in designated areas within the warehouse
• Operate heavy machinery as required to complete tasks safely
• Read and memorize postal codes to support accurate package sorting
• Perform additional tasks as assigned in a fast-paced warehouse setting

Requirements / Skills

UPS is looking for candidates who are physically capable, dependable, and adaptable. Whether you’re new to warehouse work or have prior experience, the ability to follow direction, stay organized under pressure, and keep up with the physical demands of the role is what matters most here.

• Physical strength — ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) regularly
• Postal code literacy — ability to read and memorize postal codes for accurate sorting
• Schedule flexibility — availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Warehouse experience — preferred but not required
