Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. is seeking a talented Partner Sales Manager to lead and grow relationships with strategic consulting and technology partners in Canada’s startup ecosystem. In this dynamic role, you will drive the adoption of AWS cloud-based solutions, working closely with C-level executives, sales teams, and product managers to expand AWS’s footprint and support the success of startups through innovative cloud solutions.
The Partner Sales Manager for Startups will play a critical role in growing AWS’s business within this key market by developing business and technical relationships and closing opportunities that drive top-line revenue. You will bring expertise in technology sales and business development, with a proven track record of success working with enterprise customers and partner teams.
Position Overview: Partner Sales Manager for Startups at AWS Canada
As a Partner Sales Manager with Amazon Web Services, you will be the key driver of growth and partner engagement within the startup ecosystem. Your focus will be on establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with consulting and technology firms that work with startups to expand AWS’s reach and drive adoption of cloud solutions.
In this role, you will also develop comprehensive territory plans and account strategies that prioritize market needs and align with AWS’s objectives. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a strong sales pipeline and meeting quarterly revenue targets, leveraging AWS resources and programs to support partner growth and solution development.
Key Responsibilities
As the Partner Sales Manager, Startups, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving revenue growth and market share within a defined territory, collaborating with multiple account teams and partners.
- Meeting quarterly revenue targets by collaborating with partners and AWS sales teams to generate opportunities that lead to AWS revenue.
- Building and nurturing relationships with startup customers, partners, and C-level executives to understand business needs and tailor AWS solutions.
- Creating and presenting value propositions for AWS services to customers and partners, articulating the benefits and business impact of AWS solutions.
- Developing and executing territory plans that align with AWS’s growth strategy and support partner-led initiatives.
- Managing contract negotiations and participating in AWS funding programs to support partner growth and business goals.
Basic Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of full sales cycle experience in technology sales, business development, or sales engineering.
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred for candidates applying for this role:
- Experience managing joint GTM (Go-to-Market) success with consulting and technology partners.
- Background in partner or overlay sales roles, fostering collaboration between partner and field sales teams.
- Knowledge of enterprise software and cloud computing platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
