About the Role: Package Handler

Responsibilities
In this role, every shift contributes directly to UPS’s commitment to reliable, on-time delivery. Package Handlers are the backbone of warehouse operations, ensuring packages move accurately and safely from intake to dispatch. Here’s what the work looks like on a daily basis:
- Learn and execute UPS’s established package handling methods and procedures
- Load and unload packages into and out of trailers and package cars
- Scan, sort, and stock packages according to destination and routing requirements
- Read and memorize postal codes to ensure accurate package sorting
- Operate heavy machinery as required to complete warehouse tasks
- Adapt to various tasks in a fast-paced environment as assigned by supervisors
Requirements / Skills
UPS is looking for reliable, physically capable individuals who can keep up in a demanding warehouse setting.
