About the Role: Package Handler

As a Package Handler at UPS Calgary, you’ll be responsible for the movement and processing of packages across various stages of the logistics chain. • Load and unload packages into and out of trailers and package cars
• Scan, sort, and stock packages according to destination and routing requirements
• Read and memorize postal codes to ensure accurate package sorting
• Operate heavy machinery as required to complete warehouse tasks
• Adapt to various tasks in a fast-paced environment as assigned by supervisors

Requirements / Skills

UPS is looking for reliable, physically capable individuals who can keep up in a demanding warehouse setting. The ideal candidate is punctual, detail-oriented, and comfortable working non-traditional shift hours. Warehouse experience is an asset, though not mandatory — a strong work ethic and willingness to learn go a long way here.

• Physical fitness: ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) on a regular basis
• Postal code literacy: ability to read and memorize postal codes for accurate sorting
• Schedule flexibility: available to work flexible shifts up to 5 days per week, including overnight hours (11PM – 6AM)
• Personal transportation: must have your own reliable transportation, as public transit is not available during overnight shifts
• Warehouse experience: previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred
