Location: Vancouver, BC | Company: Tim Hortons
Tim Hortons is hiring an Overnight Team Member/Baker in Vancouver, BC at 5896 Fraser Street, Vancouver, BC V5W 2Z5. As an overnight production team member, your top priority is getting the restaurant ready for success for the next day, while also serving guests who may visit overnight and responding to special requests in a friendly, guest-first way.
In this role, you take pride in producing quality finished bakery and menu items guests come to enjoy and love. You’ll support a clean and organized environment through regular clean-up, help with stocking and prep for the morning rush, follow Tim Hortons standards and guidelines when preparing products, minimize food waste, and maintain freshness across bakery items.
About the role: Overnight Team Member/Baker
As an Overnight Team Member/Baker, you’ll work hands-on with bakery production and prep. This includes getting products from the walk-in freezer, operating ovens and egg cookers, and preparing baked products as assigned like muffins, donuts, breads, eggs, sausages, and more. You’ll also decorate donuts and other items according to standard while ensuring showcase specifications are met.
You’ll handle inventory of baked products during your shift—especially during rush hours—monitor expired products with urgency, and make sure open products have shelf life stickers and are stored properly. You’ll prepare toppings and pre-prep back-ups for the next shift, fill production sheets in a timely manner, maintain cleanliness of equipment each shift, and keep your work area clean and organized through end of shift/day. When needed, you’ll promptly assist other team members in the front of house and help “Make it right” for guest concerns or complaints.

Job Summary & Tips for Applying
To stand out for the Overnight Team Member/Baker role, make your application closely match what overnight production really looks like: getting the restaurant ready for the next day while still supporting guests who visit overnight. If you’ve worked in food prep or baking, mention experience with ovens, handling frozen inventory, decorating or finishing products, and staying on top of production tasks without constant supervision.
This posting puts a lot of weight on consistency and freshness—so highlight habits that protect quality, like checking shelf life stickers, monitoring expired products with urgency, minimizing food waste, and keeping showcase standards on point. If you’ve filled production sheets, followed recipes/standards, or worked with food safety and sanitation procedures, those details help your resume look immediately relevant.
Finally, call out reliability for overnight schedules and your ability to stay calm under pressure. Mention commuting flexibility for late-night or early-morning shifts, being comfortable in cold environments (freezer/fridge), and being the kind of teammate who can jump in front-of-house when needed to “Make it right” for guests. These small details are often what hiring managers look for when building a strong overnight crew.
