About the Role: Overnight Associate

The Overnight Associate position at Walmart Winkler focuses on the flow of merchandise from receiving through to the sales floor. You’ll be pulling pallets, unloading trailers, stocking and signing features, and ensuring that products are properly labelled and placed — all during overnight hours when the store is at its quietest. This role places a stronger emphasis on backroom binning, labelling, and stocking compared to day or evening fulfillment positions.

Working as part of a collaborative overnight team, you’ll help strategically plan and execute tasks based on workload and store needs. Safety and cleanliness are top priorities — you’ll be expected to follow all Walmart policies and procedures, complete safety sweep logs, and ensure that displays and fixtures are secure throughout your shift.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $16.15 per hour, with your actual rate determined based on relevant experience. • Prepare the sales floor for store opening each night, ensuring products are in place and ready for customers
• Set, merchandise, and sign features according to Walmart’s planogram and promotional guidelines
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of various types of merchandise
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label and stock backroom bins — a key focus of the overnight role compared to day/evening shifts
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when needed
• Label the sales floor in preparation for store opening
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures
