About the Role: Overnight Associate

The Overnight Associate position focuses on the flow of merchandise from receiving through to the sales floor. Your shift will revolve around unloading trailers, pulling pallets, processing merchandise, stocking shelves, and preparing the store for opening. A key differentiator of this overnight role compared to day or evening positions is the stronger emphasis on labelling and backroom bin stocking — precision and attention to detail matter here.

You’ll work as part of a coordinated team, strategically planning and executing duties based on workload and operational needs. Safety is a top priority — you’ll contribute to a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures remain secure throughout your shift.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $17.75/hour, with the actual rate determined based on relevant experience. Responsibilities

The Overnight Associate at Walmart Hamilton keeps the store running like clockwork before customers arrive. • Prepare the sales floor for store opening each night, ensuring everything is in order before the first customers walk in
• Set, merchandise, and sign features throughout the store according to company standards
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of various types of merchandise
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label merchandise and sales floor sections — a key emphasis of the overnight role compared to day/evening shifts
• Stock backroom bins and assist in placing merchandise in assigned areas throughout the store
• Assist with stocking the sales floor as assigned, and provide customer service when required
