Order Picker – Costco – Quebec City, QC

Costco Wholesale Canada is hiring a detail-oriented Order Picker at its Quebec City Business Centre (999 Rue du Marais). In this role, you’ll be responsible for pulling merchandise for high-volume orders, assembling pallets, and preparing shipments with accuracy and efficiency. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations, logistics, and member service while working in a fast-paced environment.

As an Order Picker, you’ll use manual pallet jacks, scanners, and warehouse systems to ensure correct items are pulled, packed, and loaded for delivery. This role is key to ensuring members receive the right products on time, in the right condition.

About the Role

The Order Picker is responsible for selecting and moving merchandise from warehouse stock to fulfill large business orders. Tasks include scanning pick tickets, pulling items, packing cooler/freezer goods, and transporting pallets safely with manual pallet jacks. You’ll also work with forklift drivers for large orders and assist with loading delivery trucks.

This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and adherence to safety standards. Since this role is in Quebec, candidates must be able to communicate in French (oral and written).

Requirements / Skills

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• French (oral and written) required (Quebec postings)
• Costco Food Safety Certification – Level 1 required on first day
• Operation of Electric Pallet Jack Certification an asset
• Stocker or warehouse experience preferred
• Math and basic computer skills
• Ability to lift, move, and transport merchandise safely

Responsibilities

• Pull and assemble merchandise for Business Centre orders using scanners and pick tickets
• Operate manual pallet jacks and assist forklift drivers for large-quantity items
• Pack cooler and freezer items into insulated containers
• Check product condition, substitutions, and out-of-stock reporting
• Transfer completed orders to audit and load onto delivery trucks
• Follow all safety and security procedures
• Provide courteous member service and assist other warehouse areas as needed
