About the role: Operations Support Coordinator at Tesla
As an Operations Support Coordinator at Tesla, you will be responsible for:
- Sourcing parts from distribution centers and allocating them to service appointments.
- Monitoring inventory within the parts system, completing daily stock counts, and communicating parts updates with team members.
- Preparing internal orders for shipment to other Tesla locations and maintaining automated inventory replenishment lists.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure parts availability and efficient logistics.
- Managing inventory, including receiving, inspecting, and storing stock and special-order parts.
- Handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries while ensuring safety compliance.
- Managing safety equipment and PPE inventory, maintaining accountability for specialized tools used by the Field Service team.

Requirements / Skills
To succeed as an Operations Support Coordinator at Tesla, you should have:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Experience in inventory management, logistics, or operations support.
- Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new systems and tools.
- Organizational skills to handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one within 3 months of employment).
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to other Tesla locations as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and operating manual and electric pallet jacks.
