This frontline leadership role supports the FedEx Express Safety Above All culture and is responsible for managing day-to-day sort operations along with assigned Cargo Handlers (CH) within the station. You will oversee package handling methods, routing, recovery of potential service failures, and compliance with FXE procedures and government regulations.

About the role: Operations Supervisor-1
The Operations Supervisor-1 leads employees in proper package handling, ensures efficient routing, and manages service recovery when operational issues arise. Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring staff, delegating work assignments, supporting administrative compliance, and optimizing processes to simplify workflows while maintaining quality. Requirements / Skills
- College degree
- 2 years of FedEx sort operations or senior hourly role experience OR 2 years of supervisory experience in a related industry
- Valid driver’s licence with a good driving record
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
- Completion of all mandatory and recurrency training, including DG certification
- Strong leadership abilities, including mentoring, coaching, prioritizing, and delegating
- Effective conflict management and decision-making skills
- Clear and empathetic communication style
- Strong organizational, analytical, and planning abilities
- EXCEL Leadership Development Stream (preferred)
- Bilingual French/English required if residing in Quebec
