About the Role: OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate

As an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate, you’ll be at the intersection of in-store retail and online order fulfillment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that every customer order is picked with care, packed efficiently, and ready for delivery on time. From selecting the freshest products to correctly reading pick slips and applying shipping labels, precision is at the core of everything you do.

You’ll also play a role in maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment, operating material handling equipment responsibly, and actively contributing ideas for continuous improvement. Working alongside your team, you’ll balance fulfillment tasks with moments of direct customer interaction, helping resolve issues and deliver a seamless shopping experience.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.25 per hour, with the actual rate determined based on relevant experience. Responsibilities

In this role, your day revolves around making sure online orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. From navigating different temperature zones to carefully labelling each package, every task you perform contributes directly to customer satisfaction and Walmart’s reputation for reliability.

• Pick and assemble online orders from various temperature areas with care and quality in mind to ensure on-time delivery
• Pack orders precisely, distinguishing between similar products, verifying exact quantities, and confirming correct product codes
• Inspect product quality to ensure only undamaged, fresh items are included in every order
• Document and label all orders correctly by interpreting pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels
• Optimize tote fill by packing orders space-efficiently while maintaining product quality standards
• Balance fulfillment duties with customer interactions, addressing and resolving issues as they arise
• Uphold safety and food hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean work area, cleaning up spills immediately, and ensuring totes are debris-free before packing
• Operate material handling equipment safely, completing pre-inspection checks before each use
• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to procedures, productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction
