Network Deploy Technician – Amazon – New Carlisle, IN
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our Infrastructure Services team. This role involves managing and troubleshooting AWS’s expansive network infrastructure, including deployment and maintenance of hardware, network cabling, and power requirements.
You will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless project execution and contribute to the overall stability and scalability of our network systems. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in data center operations, network deployment, and technical project management.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize tasks through ticketing systems to meet customer and project needs.
- Troubleshoot network issues, including routing, patch panels, and interconnectivity.
- Ensure proper hardware racking/stacking and configuration for new deployments.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to overcome project obstacles.
- Participate in hardware migration, configuration, and rollout processes.

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in roles such as Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data center operations and industry certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+).
- Knowledge of network cabling, testing equipment, and infrastructure technologies.
- Familiarity with networking protocols and command line interfaces (e.g., Cisco IOS, JunOS).
Working Conditions
This role is based in New Carlisle, IN, with travel required within and outside the regional work area. The job includes physical demands such as lifting, working in cramped spaces, and maintaining long shifts, with reasonable accommodations available.
