Responsibilities
In this role, your days will be filled with meaningful outreach and relationship-building across your assigned territory. You’ll represent Costco Business Centre to a wide range of local businesses, helping them discover how Costco’s products and services can benefit their operations. Here’s a closer look at what you’ll be doing:
- Canvass businesses in the warehouse sales area in person and by phone to promote memberships and drive sales.
- Meet with business owners to assess their needs and identify Costco products and services that deliver real value.
- Use persuasive skills to promote both walk-in and delivery sales, as well as new and renewed memberships.
- Assist with online ordering via the Costco website, suggesting new items and related products to grow member spend.
- Track all activity using the Cybergeneration CRM (or other required tools), including sales, appointments, sign-ups, emails and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct competitive shopping to gauge Costco’s position in the local market.
- Participate in community events, trade shows, Chamber of Commerce meetings and charity events to build goodwill and brand awareness.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to members, resolving concerns with professionalism, tact and discretion.
- Submit mileage records and expense receipts accurately for timely reimbursement.
- Support the Membership Counter and assist with inside marketing programs as needed.
Requirements / Skills

- High School diploma or GED is preferred for this position.
