Maintenance Tech – FedEx Supply Chain Canada – Coteau-du-Lac, QC

About the Role: Maintenance Tech

As a Maintenance Tech with FedEx Supply Chain Canada, you’ll be working directly alongside the maintenance supervisor to carry out preventive and reactive maintenance on equipment, systems, and the building itself. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be involved in a wide range of maintenance and facility support activities that keep the warehouse operating safely and efficiently. Day to day, you’ll be responding to issues as they arise, working alongside your supervisor, and ensuring both equipment and the building are properly maintained and documented.

• Assist the supervisor with all activities related to maintenance, prevention, servicing, and documentation of equipment and systems to minimize downtime
• Respond promptly to building maintenance calls as soon as they are reported
• Support other trades on-site when required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
• Ensure general upkeep of the building to maintain a clean, safe, and functional facility
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all workplace health and safety protocols
• Complete monitoring and control reports as required to support facility documentation
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management in alignment with operational needs

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate brings hands-on mechanical maintenance experience from a manufacturing or packaging environment and has the problem-solving instincts to troubleshoot issues on the fly. • High School diploma or equivalent is required
• 1–2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or packaging setting, or an equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and general industrial maintenance practices
• Ability to maintain and repair building equipment with precision and care
• Strong communication skills — both verbal and written — and a customer-service mindset
• Comfort working in a computerized environment and ability to operate rolling stock
• Physical capability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs, work at height, and perform tasks across a full range of motion throughout the shift
• Functional French (written and spoken) required for candidates residing in Quebec
