Benefits and Salary

The base salary range for this position in Toronto, ON is $123,600 to $206,300 CAD annually. As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may also include sign-on payments, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and sales incentives, with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location. AWS offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, and basic life & AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, flexible work arrangements, and access to mentorship and career development resources.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll take ownership of enterprise relationships and revenue outcomes across your defined territory. Each day involves a balance of strategic account planning, active pipeline management, and high-level client engagement — all in service of accelerating cloud adoption for ISV customers across Canada.

  • Drive revenue and market share within a defined territory or industry vertical, meeting or exceeding quarterly revenue targets
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account and territory plan to ensure consistent coverage and pipeline growth
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services tailored to each enterprise client’s needs
  • Accelerate customer adoption by engaging stakeholders at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline through disciplined prospecting, qualification, and opportunity management
  • Collaborate with technology partners to extend AWS reach and drive broader cloud adoption in the market
  • Manage contract negotiations for large-scale technology deals from initiation through to close
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts to support ongoing growth and retention

Requirements / Skills

AWS is looking for a seasoned sales professional with a strong foundation in both business development and technical understanding of cloud technologies. The ideal candidate brings a proven ability to close enterprise-level deals and navigate complex organizations with confidence and credibility.

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C-level executives
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management
  • Large-scale technology deal experience — identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing complex enterprise transactions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • AWS and cloud platform knowledge (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) is a strong asset
  • Experience in a high-growth technology company is considered an advantage
