Responsibilities

As a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada, your daily work keeps the store running at its best. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a well-organized, fully stocked, and safe grocery department — playing a direct role in customer satisfaction and store performance.

• Zone the department regularly to ensure merchandise is neatly organized and easy to find
• Rotate stock and check for expired products to maintain freshness and quality
• Ensure proper signage and pricing on all merchandise throughout the grocery section
• Follow food safety and handling procedures, including sanitation and cleaning protocols
• Process ordering, clearance, and markdowns following Walmart’s established procedures for pricing and labelling
• Stock shelves, downstock as needed, apply product protection, and complete modular setups including flex modulars and new shelf caps
• Keep the department fully stocked and ready for business at all times
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for both customers and team members
