About the Role: General Manager II – Distribution

Responsibilities
In this role, your day-to-day will span both strategic oversight and hands-on operational leadership. You’ll be accountable for the performance, safety, and profitability of the site — working collaboratively with your team and your customers to deliver consistent, high-quality results in a third-party logistics (3PL) environment.
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize overall productivity
- Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff through coaching, guidance, and a strong team culture
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
- Leverage technology including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation to track inventory and monitor performance metrics
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services and supplies in line with commercial agreements
- Prepare and analyze performance reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and key metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Lead customer relationships through daily contact and the delivery of Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR)
- Own the site’s P&L, ensuring financial performance aligns with business objectives and customer commitments
Requirements / Skills
