Responsibilities

In this senior leadership role, you’ll be accountable for the full operational performance of the Milton distribution facility. From the shop floor to the boardroom, your day-to-day responsibilities span people leadership, customer management, financial oversight, and continuous improvement — all with a focus on delivering excellence in supply chain operations.

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately
  • Develop and implement strategic process improvements to minimize costs and maximize productivity across the site
  • Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching, guidance, and fostering a strong team culture
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
  • Leverage WMS, automation, and other technologies to track inventory and monitor performance metrics
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee cost-effective sourcing of services and supplies in line with the commercial agreement
  • Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and key metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead customer relationships through daily contact, ensuring strong connections and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Own the site P&L and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to clients in collaboration with your team

Requirements / Skills

DHL is looking for a seasoned leader who brings both operational know-how and people-first instincts to the table. The ideal candidate has a solid track record in warehouse or distribution management, is comfortable with financial accountability, and knows how to build trust with both internal teams and external clients.

  • 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience, required — you know how to lead people and drive results

  • Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics, preferred — a strong asset in this client-facing role
