About the Role: Front-End Engineer II, Route 53 Console
As a Front-End Engineer II at Amazon Web Services, you’ll own the development and maintenance of the Route 53 DNS management console, using React and TypeScript to build intuitive user interfaces for managing DNS records, health checks, and traffic policies. You’ll implement security controls to prevent DNS misconfigurations and work alongside security architects to safeguard against threats like cache poisoning and unauthorized zone transfers.
Beyond feature development, you’ll participate in security reviews, write automated tests to validate security controls, and contribute to incident response for DNS-related events. Benefits and Salary
The base salary range for this position in Vancouver, BC is $114,800 – $191,800 CAD annually. As part of Amazon’s total compensation package, additional elements may include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), with final compensation based on experience, qualifications, and location. Requirements / Skills
