Dollarama is hiring a results-driven District Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and drive performance across 10 to 18 retail stores in the Peterborough district. This role is critical to ensuring sales growth, operational excellence, and team development in a fast-paced, multi-unit retail environment. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the District Manager is responsible for sales performance, merchandising, recruitment, training, financial reporting, and store openings.

As a District Manager, you will lead and mentor store managers, and indirectly manage teams of 100+ associates. You will ensure sales targets are met, stores are fully stocked and operationally efficient, and employees are trained and motivated to provide excellent customer experiences while meeting Dollarama’s standards of profitability and growth.

About the Role

In this role, you will dedicate approximately 90% of your time in-store, supporting operations and ensuring programs are executed flawlessly. You’ll also oversee employee performance management, implement loss prevention strategies, and ensure the achievement of key operational objectives such as shrink reduction, inventory accuracy, and productivity improvement.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with multi-unit retail management experience, proven success in driving results, and the ability to mentor and motivate large teams. You will be expected to travel within your territory and occasionally outside of it for projects and leadership meetings.
