About the Role: Demand Generation Representative

As a DGR within the AWS Global Sales organization, you’ll be the engine behind new pipeline creation. You’ll dig into each customer’s technology footprint and business challenges to craft relevant, personalized outreach that opens doors.

Success in this role also means working effectively as part of a team. You’ll partner with account managers, channel partners, and marketing to align on strategy and coverage. The base salary range for this position is $24.00 to $40.00 CAD per hour. As a total compensation employer, Amazon’s package may also include sign-on payments, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and sales incentives where applicable. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and resources to support your health and well-being. Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving net new business growth and expanding AWS adoption across your assigned territories. Your work directly fuels the sales pipeline, making you a critical part of the AWS Global Sales engine. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Conduct high-volume prospecting by sourcing net new contacts and executing outbound campaigns to generate new business opportunities across thousands of accounts
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads from marketing and partner channels, ensuring opportunities are clearly defined with appropriate next steps
  • Own top-of-funnel activity including account research, contact sourcing, customer calls, and meeting scheduling to hit input and output goals
  • Collaborate with Account Teams to develop a deep understanding of industries, personas, and accounts within your territories
  • Develop and execute prospecting plans in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to identify new customer use cases
  • Track pipeline activity accurately in Salesforce CRM and leverage self-service reporting tools to maintain data integrity
  • Expand existing customer relationships through account planning, territory management, and identifying new services adoption opportunities
  • Understand each customer’s technology footprint, technical challenges, and business objectives to deliver relevant, consultative outreach
