About the Role: Delivery Driver (Class 5)
As a Package Delivery Driver at UPS, your day starts between 9 AM and noon and involves loading your vehicle and heading out to complete your delivery route. Responsibilities
Day-to-day, a UPS Delivery Driver is responsible for far more than just dropping off parcels. From safely loading your vehicle in the morning to professionally interacting with customers throughout your route, every task plays a role in keeping UPS’s reputation for reliable, on-time delivery intact.
- Deliver packages to residential customers across assigned Quebec City neighbourhoods efficiently and on schedule
- Load and organize your delivery vehicle at the start of each shift to ensure safe and accessible transport of parcels
- Navigate routes using map books and area knowledge, covering multiple residential zones as required
- Provide excellent customer service during every interaction, representing the UPS brand professionally
- Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and all company policies and procedures
- Safely handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs. independently and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
- Maintain safe driving practices at all times, adhering to provincial traffic laws and UPS standards

- Physical fitness — ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (35 kg) unassisted and up to 150 lbs. (68 kg) with assistance
- Map reading and navigation skills — ability to read and navigate using map books
