In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving a commercial truck equipped with air brakes and a hydraulic lift to deliver products directly to members. You’ll handle tasks such as unloading orders, collecting payments, issuing return credits, and completing necessary paperwork.
About the Role: Delivery Driver
As a Delivery Driver, you will collect the driver route sheet, assign a truck, and prepare necessary documentation like member invoices and audit notes. Conducting a thorough safety inspection of the delivery truck and ensuring all merchandise is accurately loaded, including any cooler or frozen items, is essential. You’ll utilize pallet straps when needed and drive the delivery truck, adhering to all traffic laws. Verify and confirm all items and quantities with members and obtain necessary signatures and payments.
In addition to handling deliveries, you will provide courteous member service by arranging delivery for any missing items and managing returns. After completing all deliveries, return to the warehouse, ensure any returned items are checked by a manager, and submit all paperwork and equipment.
