As a Delivery Driver (Class 5) with UPS Canada in Quebec City, QC, you’ll deliver packages in residential areas while providing strong customer service and safe, reliable driving in a physical, fast-paced, outdoor environment. New drivers may cover multiple neighborhoods, so route flexibility, map-reading, and local area awareness are important.

You’ll represent UPS on the road and are expected to follow UPS appearance guidelines while maintaining professional, customer-friendly interactions throughout your route.

About the role: Delivery Driver (Class 5)

In this role, you’ll operate a delivery vehicle and complete daily residential deliveries, adapting to changing volumes and routes. You’ll need solid driving skills, the ability to navigate using map books, and the physical ability to handle packages up to 70 lbs solo (and 150 lbs with assistance).

You must be 21+ (insurance requirement) and provide a driver’s abstract before the road test, meeting clean-driving conditions (no at-fault accidents in the last 3 years and no traffic violations in the last 12 months).

Compensation, Schedule & Employment Type

UPS lists a starting rate of $17.30/hour plus an hourly bonus of $3.70/hour (bonus subject to change), with a maximum rate of $32.99/hour after probation and progression. Pay is weekly (Fridays), and the role includes paid training and access to employee discounts upon hiring.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, start time between 9 AM and noon, typically 40–45 hours/week, though hours depend on daily volume and are not guaranteed.
