About the Role: Customer Representative – Station
As a Customer Representative, you will provide accurate information and assistance to customers requiring direct interface. In addition, you’ll perform administrative duties to ensure smooth and efficient operations while identifying opportunities to generate incremental revenue through continued sales promotions. This position involves both customer service and operational responsibilities, requiring a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
This role operates Sunday to Thursday, with weekday shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Sunday shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Applicants must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks and working effectively under pressure in a monitored and evolving environment.
Responsibilities of a Customer Representative
- Provide accurate information and assistance to customers requiring direct customer interface.
- Perform administrative tasks to support efficient station operations.
- Promote FedEx Express and Ground products and services to enhance revenue opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian Customs regulations and FedEx operational standards.
- Handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs and maneuver items up to 150 lbs with equipment.
- Operate effectively within a PC Windows environment.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve customer inquiries and concerns efficiently.
Qualifications for the Customer Representative Role
- High school diploma or equivalent; college diploma preferred.
- Knowledge of Canadian Customs regulations and FedEx products/services is an asset.
- Proficient in interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage stress and adapt to changing work environments.
- Ability to complete all required training and achieve mandatory thresholds.
- If based in Quebec, bilingualism in French and English is mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (for roles requiring driving).
