Customer Fulfillment Associate – Walmart – Winnipeg, MB

Walmart Canada is hiring a Customer Fulfillment Associate for the store at 1576 Regent Ave W, Winnipeg. You’ll pick, pack, and stage online grocery and general merchandise orders with care, helping customers get exactly what they requested—and suitable substitutions when items are unavailable.

If you like staying active, keeping things organized, and talking to customers when orders are picked up, this role gives you hands-on experience across retail operations, service, and last-mile fulfillment.

About the Role

Each shift starts with a quick device check and review of your pick list. You’ll move through departments to select the right items, confirm barcodes with a handheld, and keep cold and frozen products in the correct temperature zones. Accuracy matters: you’ll double-check quantities, dates, and packaging before sealing the tote.

Once orders are packed, you’ll label and stage them in the right area for curbside or in-store pickup. During peak times you may help with customer handoff, answer simple questions about substitutions, and keep the work area clean and safe while following food handling and hygiene routines.

Requirements / Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Attention to detail and steady pace over a full shift
• Comfort working in cooler and freezer areas when needed
• Clear, respectful communication and teamwork
• Flexible availability (mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights)
• Comfort using handheld scanners and basic apps for labeling and tracking

Responsibilities

• Pick and assemble online orders accurately using a handheld scanner
• Pack items to protect quality; maintain cold chain for refrigerated/frozen goods
• Label totes and paperwork correctly; stage orders in the right zone
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and general safety procedures
• Balance picking with quick, courteous customer interactions at pickup
• Operate carts and basic material-handling equipment responsibly
• Flag issues (damages, short picks, substitutions) and close the loop with the team
