This CTV (City Transfer Vehicle) Driver position offers a consistent early-morning schedule — Monday through Friday, 4:30 am to 9:30 am — making it an ideal fit for professional drivers who want steady, structured hours without committing to a full-time grind.
This isn’t a typical delivery route. About the Role: CTV Class AZ Driver
The core focus of this position is the safe and timely transport of freight between FedEx stations and hub facilities across the region. You’ll also be responsible for the pickup and delivery of large skidded freight and multi-piece shipments. Beyond the cab, you’ll regularly operate power material handling equipment, which means understanding proper loading techniques, weight distribution, and the sequencing of unit loading devices (ULDs).
Safety and compliance are front and centre in this role. FedEx drivers are held to high standards when it comes to dangerous goods handling, ULD inspection to meet FAA airworthiness requirements, and adherence to both provincial and inter-provincial transportation regulations. Drivers crossing into the U.S. must also comply with FAST customs regulations and mandatory DOT pre-hire drug testing.
