Join FedEx Canada as a Courier Team Lead and support daily delivery and pickup operations while providing leadership to courier teams. In this role, you’ll assist management with coordinating workflow, promoting best practices, and ensuring safe and efficient operations across assigned routes and facility areas.
As a Courier Team Lead, you’ll act as a role model, helping train and guide hourly employees, supporting communication, and resolving operational needs in real time. This is a full-time, regular position ideal for individuals with courier experience who are looking to take on greater leadership responsibilities while continuing to work hands-on in daily operations.
About the role: Courier Team Lead
This role focuses on overseeing daily sort and delivery activities, coordinating workload planning, and ensuring safe and effective package delivery operations. You will help maintain service standards, model professional conduct, and promote strong teamwork among couriers.
You will also support performance expectations, coach employees, assist with conflict resolution, and contribute to operational improvements. A valid driver’s licence and strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to lift and maneuver shipments safely when required.

Requirements / Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of current courier experience preferred
- Valid driver’s licence with a good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment
- Ability to complete and maintain all required training and certifications
- Knowledge of FedEx operational procedures and product services (preferred)
- Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate during time-sensitive operations
- Team player with strong problem-solving and organization abilities
- For Quebec applicants: bilingual (English & French) requirement applies
