About the Role: Courier

Day to day, you’ll be driving your assigned route, scanning and delivering packages, verifying that all shipments conform to Federal Express Canada’s features of service, and providing customer service on the spot. This is a permanent full-time position running Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. You’ll need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and adaptable enough to shift schedules when business needs change, including working holidays when required.

Requirements / Skills

• High school diploma or educational equivalent required
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record (two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months)
• Physical fitness to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with proper equipment
• One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for daily customer interactions
• Time management and organizational ability to handle a structured delivery route
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure in a demanding environment
• Willingness to work flexible schedules and holidays as required
