About the role: Cloud Application Architect
The Cloud Application Architect works directly with customers to design scalable, highly available application solutions using AWS services. You will help architect cloud-optimized applications, implement DevOps practices, and act as a technical leader alongside customer development, business, and infrastructure teams.
Key responsibilities include delivering cloud architecture expertise, supporting re-engineering efforts, implementing Infrastructure as Code, advising on AWS best practices, and helping teams adopt modern development patterns. The role also involves close collaboration across AWS product and service teams to tailor the right solutions based on customer requirements.

Requirements / Skills
- 6+ years of large-scale software development or application engineering
- Recent coding experience in at least two modern languages (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Python, Go, Swift, Node.js, Ruby)
- 3+ years of CI/CD implementation experience
- 2+ years of cloud technology design and provisioning
- Experience with Canadian federal and provincial compliance/security standards and protected data classifications
- Fluency in French and English for Quebec-based candidates
- A passion for scalable cloud architectures, AWS development patterns, DevOps, and cloud modernization
