As a Cashier Assistant with Costco Wholesale Canada in Edmonton, AB, you’ll support front-end operations by packing member orders efficiently and helping keep checkout moving smoothly during busy periods. This is a hands-on warehouse role focused on speed, safety, and great member service.

You’ll help keep the front end and surrounding areas organized by cleaning spills/trip hazards, retrieving carts and flatbeds outside, and completing opening/closing and stocking tasks as directed.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet members, help load orders onto the conveyor belt, and pack items based on member preferences
• Pack orders into boxes and load onto a separate cart or flatbed; assist with loading into vehicles when appropriate
• Run for items such as merchandise, boxes, register supplies, and item numbers to support cashiers
• Transfer items not on the belt to a cart/flatbed while cashiers scan
• Maintain cleanliness of register and front-end areas; clean spills and trip hazards immediately
• Retrieve carts/flatbeds from the parking area and keep the lot area free of debris
• Operate mechanical trash compactor/cardboard bailer
• Support promotions and complete set-up/closing duties (returns, paperwork, stocking registers, cleaning)

Requirements / Skills
