About the Role: Cargo Handler
As a Cargo Handler at FedEx Canada, your primary focus will be on the movement and handling of freight within the facility. You’ll be responsible for loading and unloading shipments, scanning and sorting packages to ensure they reach the right destination, and transporting freight as needed between facility areas. Accuracy and physical stamina are both important in this role.
You’ll be expected to follow FedEx Canada operations standards and comply with Canadian Customs regulations. Working as part of a team, you’ll need good interpersonal skills and the commitment to complete all required training and maintain any necessary accreditations. This is a casual position and does not include benefits.

Responsibilities

- Lift and manoeuvre packages weighing up to 70 lbs independently, and up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
- Complete all required training and maintain any applicable annual accreditations
- Operate in a PC Windows environment as needed for scanning and documentation
- Adhere to FedEx Canada operations standards and Canadian Customs regulations
Requirements / Skills
