Prepares and bakes high‑volume bakery products according to Costco formulas, handling industrial‑sized ingredient containers and operating large power mixers. You’ll monitor ovens and ensure each batch meets our quality and consistency standards.
As a Baker, you’ll follow department production procedures, maintain sanitation and temperature controls, and provide prompt, courteous member service. Join our team in Oshawa and bring your baking expertise to Costco’s warehouse bakery.
About the Role: Baker
In this position, you’ll assemble, measure, and combine large quantities of ingredients using calculators to adjust formulas for alternate yields. You’ll operate power equipment—dough rollers, muffin depositors, crust machines—and mix batter, frosting, and fillings with industrial mixers.
You’ll roll, cut, and shape dough for breads and pastries, transfer raw products to raising rooms, and bake in large ovens—removing products to cooling racks at the right time. You’ll also monitor sanitation, pull dates, and comply with health‑code and safety procedures.
