About the Role: Asset Protection Associate

As an Asset Protection Associate, your primary mission is to create and maintain a secure and effective work environment for all customers, associates, visitors, and vendors. You’ll conduct facility patrols, validate the security of doors and showcases, and take action when needed — including making external arrests where required. Your work directly contributes to reducing financial and physical shrink, which keeps Walmart profitable and able to offer great prices to Canadians.

Responsibilities

Day to day, an Asset Protection Associate at Walmart is responsible for keeping the entire store environment safe, secure, and running smoothly. These responsibilities are vital to protecting both the business and every person who walks through the door — associates, customers, and vendors alike.
