This role supports the General Manager and Fulfillment Center Operations team, ensuring the smooth execution of administrative tasks and contributing to the efficiency of our operations. About the Position: GM Administrative Assistant
As a GM Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, from managing schedules to preparing reports and presentations. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Your ability to think ahead, plan effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities will be essential in this role. You’ll also collaborate closely with various departments, providing critical support to the Fulfillment Center team.
Key Responsibilities
As a GM Administrative Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Expense Management: Complete and manage expense reports for the General Manager and Senior Leaders.
- Scheduling: Maintain calendars, coordinate meetings, and plan events for the Fulfillment Center staff.
- Communication: Assist with internal communications and provide clerical support, including email correspondence and document preparation.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange cost-effective travel, including airfare, hotel bookings, and ground transportation.
- Office Management: Oversee conference room bookings, manage supplies, and coordinate with vendors for maintenance needs.
- Data Tracking: Compile team goals, track key deliverables, and follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Workforce Management, Recruiting, Maintenance, Human Resources, and other teams.
What You’ll Bring
To excel in this role, you’ll need the following qualifications and skills:
- Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional or military experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Experience working with senior management and external stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits
Amazon offers competitive compensation and benefits, including:
- Base Salary: $47,700–$74,700/year, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be included in the total package.
