About the Role
As a Seasonal Package Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages of various sizes to homes and businesses across Beaumont. Your day will involve lifting items up to 70 lbs and ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to UPS appearance guidelines by wearing the company-provided uniform. You will operate UPS vehicles on pre-determined routes, following all traffic laws and company policies to deliver exceptional customer service.
This is a full-time role, with shifts ranging from eight to ten hours a day, typically scheduled Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, depending on business needs. The position requires a valid driver’s license, but no CDL is necessary. During the peak season, this job provides an excellent starting point that can lead to a permanent position with more benefits and opportunities!
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver packages safely and efficiently to customers using UPS vehicles.
- Operate vehicles on scheduled routes while following all company policies and traffic regulations.
- Lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs during loading and unloading.
- Provide top-notch customer service at every delivery point.
- Comply with UPS uniform and personal appearance guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a valid driver’s license (no CDL required).
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Pass the DOT physical examination.
