Account Executive (US/Canada) – UPS – Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada

About the Role

As an Account Executive, you will operate within a defined geographical area to identify and develop potential clients, focusing on maintaining active relationships and expanding UPS services within the US and Canada. You will assess customer needs, negotiate logistics solutions, and ensure client satisfaction through effective problem resolution and portfolio management.

This role requires regular client communication, setting up in-person appointments, and presenting tailored logistics solutions to meet customer requirements. Additionally, you will monitor sales performance, manage internal reports, and utilize systems to track progress and client activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop potential clients to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Explore customer needs and present UPS logistics solutions that best fit their requirements.
  • Negotiate and finalize logistics solutions for customers to maximize client satisfaction and sales results.
  • Manage and retain active clients in the portfolio, ensuring regular communication and problem resolution.
  • Monitor and report sales performance by drafting and updating reports in internal systems.

Basic Qualifications

UPS requires the following qualifications for the Account Executive role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.
  • Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present logistics solutions effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned geographical area.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Availability to work flexible hours and ability to provide your own vehicle for business travel.
