About the Role

In this role, you will collaborate with Fulfillment Center (FC) and regional leadership to design and implement an innovative model for centralized labor planning across NACF. You’ll be responsible for developing actionable plans and achieving results by working with key support teams such as Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Central Flow, and Process Engineering to ensure seamless operational execution. Your expertise in data analysis, Excel, and SQL will be essential in driving productivity and efficiency by enabling high-level, informed decision-making at Amazon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with FC and regional leadership teams to build an innovative model for centralized labor planning.
  • Leverage data to provide action plans and recommendations to senior management and directors.
  • Partner with teams like S&OP, Central Flow, and Process Engineering to drive improvements in operational execution.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and a bias for action to navigate ambiguity and deliver high-impact results.

Basic Qualifications

Amazon is looking for candidates who meet the following basic qualifications for the Business Analyst, Production Planning (PLEX) role:

  • 5+ years of experience with Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • 3+ years of experience in business or financial analysis.
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to drive business insights.
  • Proficiency with Excel and SQL.
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications for the role include:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in data analysis and stakeholder management.
  • Experience in logistics, distribution centers, or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as SQL, QuickSight, and Excel VBA.

Compensation & Benefits

Amazon offers a competitive salary for this role, ranging from $50,200 to $107,400 annually, depending on geographic location, job-related skills, and experience. Additional benefits include:
