Key Responsibilities

As a Intl Day Sort Package Handler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the sorting and delivery process. Your duties will include:

  • Loading and unloading packages into and out of trailers and delivery vehicles.
  • Sorting and scanning packages to ensure they are routed correctly.
  • Working with automated conveyor belts and manual rollers to move packages efficiently.
  • Maintaining organization and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Recognizing postal codes, routing charts, and maps to ensure proper package handling.

Required Skills

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to follow set procedures and work efficiently.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) unassisted.
  • Comfortable working inside container trailers, delivery trucks, or similar equipment.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and temperature-changing warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to work with and recognize postal codes, routing charts, and maps.

Compensation & Benefits

UPS offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $17.30 per hour, with guaranteed wage progression up to $28.71 per hour. In addition to your base pay, UPS provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
