WHS Specialist – Amazon – New Westminster, BC

Amazon Canada is hiring a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Specialist in New Westminster, BC. In this full-time role, you will serve as a designated representative for your assigned building, coordinating and implementing all areas of the Amazon Global WHS Program. This position is crucial to ensuring a safe, efficient, and healthy workplace for associates while supporting compliance with corporate standards and Canadian OHS Provincial Laws.

About the Role

Benefits and Salary

Amazon offers a competitive compensation package for WHS Specialists, with a base salary ranging from $59,000 to $84,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Requirements / Skills

• 1+ years of experience in a workplace health & safety role.
• High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education an asset).
• Knowledge of Canadian Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Provincial Laws.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and reporting tools.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive workplace situations.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Preferred: Experience in emergency response or worker’s compensation case management.
