About the Role: Tire Centre Sales Assistant

As a Tire Centre Sales Assistant at Costco Regina, you’ll be the go-to resource for members navigating their tire purchases. That means using the 5 steps of selling to guide members through their options, processing tire purchase and service invoices, and handling everything from phone inquiries to scheduling appointments through the .CA appointment program. You’ll also assist with driving member vehicles into the service bay and supporting day-to-day shop operations.

Beyond the member-facing side of the job, you’ll be responsible for stocking, tagging, and organizing tires on the sales floor and in steel storage, maintaining a clean work area, and communicating with the Tire Centre manager and other departments on special orders and inventory. At locations offering propane services, once provincially certified, you may also assist with propane refills following all safety procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the .CA appointment program, including booking appointments, organizing special orders, and responding to emails in a timely manner
• Create tire purchase and service invoices, process payments accurately (cash, cheque, credit, debit), and issue receipts
• Stock, tag, and organize all tires on the sales floor and in steel storage in accordance with the Tire Centre manager’s merchandising plan
• Communicate with the Tire Centre manager, buyers, receiving, and inventory auditors regarding special orders, pricing, delivery, and promotions
• Assist with vehicle handling — driving member vehicles into the service bay and parking them after service
• Maintain a clean work area by sweeping, mopping, spraying, and wiping the sales floor
• Assist with propane refills at qualifying locations once provincially certified, following all safety guidelines

Requirements / Skills

Costco is looking for a candidate who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a physical, fast-moving retail setting. You should be someone who takes pride in delivering prompt and courteous member service and can stay organized while managing multiple tasks at once.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver’s licence required — you will be operating member vehicles
• Must pass the Costco Tire certification test as part of onboarding
• Propane certification required within 30 days at locations offering propane services
• Previous tire installation or tire sales experience is a strong asset and will be given preference
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in person and over the phone
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently and with a sense of urgency throughout the day
