About the Role: Team Leader

The Team Leader is a key figure on the store floor, bridging the gap between frontline associates and store management. You’ll oversee shelf stocking, daily shipments, and visual merchandising, making sure the store is always well-organized and customer-ready. You’ll also take on manager on duty responsibilities, including tracking breaks, time, and attendance to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

As a Team Leader at Dollarama, your day-to-day will be fast-moving and varied. You’ll be responsible for keeping the store running efficiently while ensuring both team performance and customer satisfaction remain high priorities at all times.

  • Lead and supervise store associates, offering guidance, support, and motivation on the floor
  • Manage store merchandising, including shelf stocking, and boxing and unboxing daily shipments
  • Uphold customer service standards and address complaints or issues promptly and professionally
  • Perform manager on duty tasks such as tracking daily breaks, time, and attendance
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards aligned with company strategy
  • Ensure store safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met and maintained
  • Handle cash management and perform store opening and closing duties as required
  • Participate in inventory processes and contribute to accurate stock management
  • Support employee training and take part in performance evaluations
