About the Role: Talent Acquisition Recruiter
As a Talent Acquisition Recruiter at UPS, you’ll be a strategic partner to hiring managers across Canada, managing the full recruitment cycle for a wide range of positions — from management and administrative roles to technical, union mechanics, and intern/co-op positions. You’ll conduct sourcing, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and deliver employment offers, all while ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring process.
This is a hybrid role based out of 1221 32nd Avenue, Lachine, QC, requiring four days in-office and one day remote each week, Monday through Friday. You’ll be expected to bring both organizational rigour and a consultative mindset as you navigate a fast-paced, high-visibility environment with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of positions across UPS Canada, working closely with hiring managers and senior recruiters to ensure talent pipelines stay strong and requisitions are filled efficiently. Every task you take on — from sourcing to offer negotiation — contributes directly to UPS’s ability to attract and retain top-tier talent coast to coast.
- Analyse market research to set realistic hiring expectations and collaborate with Senior Recruiters on hard-to-fill roles and territories
- Evaluate labour markets and develop targeted strategies to attract talent for Sales, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and other business units
- Partner with hiring managers to understand specific recruitment needs and identify candidates for full- and part-time management, union mechanics, administrative, technical, and intern/co-op roles
- Conduct strategic sourcing to ensure open requisitions are filled in a timely and efficient manner
- Review resumes and pre-screen candidates, schedule interviews, and collaborate with hiring teams on candidate selection
- Deliver and negotiate employment offers with a strong understanding of total compensation, benefits, and retirement plans
- Monitor employment processing to ensure ongoing compliance with government regulations
- Apply knowledge of labour and employment law as well as internal policies to support sound business decisions
- Champion UPS as an employer of choice to internal and external talent communities
- Evaluate recruiting processes and make data-informed recommendations for continuous improvement
Requirements / Skills
UPS is looking for a candidate who is solutions-oriented, highly organized, and eager to grow within a dynamic, fast-paced recruitment environment. The ideal fit is someone who thrives on collaboration, communicates with clarity in both official languages, and brings a genuine curiosity for people, business, and talent strategy.
- Minimum 12 months of professional recruiting experience in management, mechanics, administrative/technical, or intern/co-op roles
- Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken) — required due to regular interactions with clients outside of Quebec (approximately 75% of the time)
- Authorized to work in Canada and located in Quebec
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Experience with social media and recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and others
- Workday ATS experience is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a complex environment
