About the Role: Stockperson/Cartpusher

As a Walmart Stockperson/Cartpusher in Victoria, you’re a vital part of the front-end operations. You’ll collect and return shopping carts following Walmart-approved procedures, assist customers at registers with carry-ins and carry-outs, and verify receipts as needed. Maintaining accurate logs — including the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk — is also part of the job.

Safety is a top priority at Walmart. You’ll be expected to wear steel toe footwear and a reflective vest during cart collection, follow established guidelines for cleaning and maintenance, handle chemicals responsibly, and adhere to all safety and emergency procedures including hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen protocols. Benefits and Salary

This position starts at a minimum rate of $18.00 per hour, with pay determined based on relevant experience. Responsibilities

This is an active, customer-facing role where no two shifts are exactly alike. From the moment you clock in, you’ll be contributing to a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment that keeps customers coming back. Here’s what your typical responsibilities will look like:

• Collect and return shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and the store perimeter using Walmart-approved procedures, and ensure all necessary logs are completed
• Assist customers promptly at all registers with carry-outs and carry-ins, verifying receipts for proof of purchase
• Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk accurately and consistently
• Complete cleaning and maintenance of restrooms as required, handling chemicals safely and following correct disposal procedures
• Operate power equipment in compliance with established guidelines, including completing inspection reports prior to use
• Adhere to all safety and emergency procedures including hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines
• Wear personal protective equipment — steel toe footwear and a reflective vest — during cart collection for safety and visibility
• Complete safety sweeps of the store and surrounding areas as required
