About the Role: Stockperson/Cartpusher

As a Stockperson/Cartpusher at Walmart Vaudreuil-Dorion, your primary focus will be collecting and returning shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and the store perimeter using Walmart-approved procedures. You’ll also be responsible for completing necessary logs, assisting customers with carry-outs, and verifying receipts at registers.

Responsibilities

The day-to-day work of a Stockperson/Cartpusher at Walmart is both active and customer-focused. You’ll be on the move throughout your shift, ensuring the store and parking lot remain tidy and that customers always have access to shopping carts. • Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter, returning them to safe storage using Walmart-approved procedures
• Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk accurately and consistently
• Assist customers promptly at registers with carry-outs and carry-ins, verifying receipts for proof of purchase
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of restrooms on an occasional basis, following correct chemical handling and disposal procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols including hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines
• Wear personal protective equipment including steel-toed footwear and a reflective vest during cart collection
• Complete safety sweeps as required to maintain a hazard-free environment
• Inspect power equipment before use and complete all required inspection reports
