This role also involves occasional restroom cleaning and maintenance, proper handling and disposal of chemicals, and operation of power equipment following inspection protocols. Responsibilities

• Collect and return shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter using Walmart-approved procedures
• Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk and ensure all required documentation is completed
• Assist customers promptly at all registers with carry-outs and carry-ins, and verify receipts for proof of purchase
• Perform restroom cleaning and maintenance on an occasional basis, following guidelines for chemical handling and proper disposal
• Operate power equipment in accordance with safety protocols, including completing inspection reports prior to use
• Adhere to safety and emergency procedures covering hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and blood borne pathogens
• Wear personal protective equipment including steel-toe footwear and a reflective vest during cart collection
• Complete safety sweeps as required and contribute to a clean, hazard-free work environment
