About the Role: Stock Unloader Associate

The Stock Unloader Associate is responsible for receiving and processing incoming merchandise at the store’s receiving area. Day-to-day duties include unloading trailers, sorting merchandise, pulling pallets to the sales floor for overnight processing, and assisting with stocking shelves as needed. You’ll also be handling overstock by labelling and placing items in designated locations.

Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment is a core part of this role. You’ll follow Walmart’s company policies and procedures, complete safety sweep logs, and ensure that displays and fixtures remain secure. When customers need assistance, you’ll step in to provide friendly, helpful service.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $16.65 per hour, with the actual rate determined based on relevant experience. Responsibilities

As a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Sydney, your shifts will revolve around keeping the store’s receiving and sales floor operations running smoothly. These responsibilities are essential to making sure products are available on shelves when customers need them.

• Prepare and reset the Receiving Area at the start of each shift
• Unload and sort general merchandise trailers efficiently and accurately
• Complete live unloading of all remaining merchandise from trailers
• Maintain cold chain integrity for refrigerated and frozen receiving and stocking
• Pull pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing
• Assist with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when needed
• Label and place overstock merchandise in designated locations
• Uphold a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to company policies, completion of safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures remain secure
