About the Role: Stock Unloader Associate

As a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Simcoe, your shift will revolve around receiving and processing merchandise efficiently. You’ll unload and sort general merchandise trailers, prepare and reset the receiving area, and pull pallets out to the sales floor for overnight processing. When needed, you’ll also step in to assist with stocking the sales floor and providing customer service — making you a versatile member of the retail team.

A strong commitment to safety and cleanliness is essential in this role. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the cold chain for refrigerated and frozen merchandise, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring all displays and fixtures are secure. This position starts at a minimum rate of $17.75/hour, with pay determined based on relevant experience. Responsibilities

Day-to-day, a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Simcoe keeps the store’s back-end operations humming. From the moment trailers arrive to the time merchandise hits the sales floor, you’re the driving force ensuring products reach customers efficiently and safely. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

• Prepare and reset the Receiving Area to ensure it’s organized and ready for incoming shipments
• Unload and sort general merchandise trailers accurately and efficiently
• Complete live unloading of all remaining merchandise as required
• Maintain the cold chain for refrigerated and frozen receiving and stocking to ensure product integrity
• Pull pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing
• Assist with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when required
• Label and place overstock merchandise in designated areas
• Contribute to a safe, clean work environment by completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
