This position is centred on the receiving and stocking process at Walmart Canada. Responsibilities
Each shift as a Stock Unloader Associate involves a combination of physical labour and process-driven tasks. Your work in the receiving area directly supports the availability of product on the shelves, keeping Walmart’s store operations running on time and on track.
- Prepare and reset the Receiving Area before and after each unloading shift
- Unload and sort general merchandise trailers accurately and efficiently
- Complete live unloading of all remaining merchandise as required
- Maintain cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen goods during receiving and stocking
- Pull pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing
- Assist with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when needed
- Label and place overstock merchandise in the appropriate locations
- Contribute to a safe, clean environment by following company procedures, completing safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures
